Dr. Ivana Domljanovic is an award-winning scientist working at the absolute cutting edge of DNA nanotechnology and non-invasive liquid biopsies. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Valdosta State University (USA), her Master’s in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Southern Denmark, and earned her PhD in Medical Science from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). Her revolutionary doctoral work yielded a patented, unenzymated “DNA origami book biosensor” designed to trap and optically flag cancer-associated biomarkers (specifically circulating microRNAs) directly in complex human biofluids like blood plasma.
