Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is a world-renowned physician-neuroscientist and advocate championing the integration of sex and gender parameters into precision neurology and psychiatry. She completed her medical and laboratory research training at the University of Zurich, notably investigating early immunotherapies for neurodegenerative disorders within the highly acclaimed lab of Roger Nitsch and Christoph Hock (where the milestone Alzheimer’s drug aducanumab was discovered).

Dr. Chadha has operated extensively across the entire medical value chain, holding strategic clinical and regulatory roles at Swissmedic, Roche, and Biogen. In 2016, she co-founded the Women’s Brain Project (now the Women’s Brain Foundation), a highly influential non-profit dedicated to erasing sex bias in medical research. Her ultimate vision is the establishment of the world’s first dedicated Sex and Gender Precision Medicine Research Institute in Switzerland.
